Dear Members
Please come and join us for our annual children’s charity tournament on Saturday 9th September, 10am to 1pm.

This year we have select two brilliant children’s charities to support.
For the ‘away’ charity, we will continue to support and sponsor our 3 lovely children at Family Village Farm, Kasam, Vellore, India. http://www.mbkgpkasam.org/

And what children’s charity could be closer to home than the Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity. http://www.roalddahl.com/charity/about-the-charity

As always, it will be a fun mixed tennis tournament, open to everyone of any ability. We can arrange partners for you and guests are welcome.

It is £10 to enter, which all goes to the charities. We will also have food and drink available.

The development of Court 14 will start on Monday 22nd May. This will create a new Lano Grand Clay surface like Courts 1 to 3 and 15.  We expect the work to take between 6 and 8 weeks, may be less. The contractor, Chiltern Sports, will have materials stored for a while around the bottom car park and will be transfering them to near Court 14.  We will have restricted parking and occaisional limited access to the top clubhouse car park as materials are moved. Please watch out for dumper trucks manouvering around the club grounds and keep your inquisitive juniors away from the work areas for safety reasons!
