Junior Tounament

Our annual grade 3 tournament was held from 24th-30th July with over 200 entries.
The competition was strong, the weather was good and the whole event was a great success.
It was especially good to see some of GMLTC's own juniors competing in it and gaining valuable experience. There was a good showing of local players - in the U16 girls doubles all 4 pairs were from Bucks.
Many thanks to the Club members who volunteered to help setting up, in the kitchen or as court supervisors. The tournament was especially grateful to Peter Lowe for essential maintenance, Alison Flude for her skillful organisation of the catering and Kate Miller for her baking and behind the scenes work.
