The last friendly match of the Winter took place on 27th February in beautiful sunshine after all the recent rain and storms. The opposition parents all commented on how beautiful the club looked. There were some close fought and competitive matches and there were wins for Isabel, Tyron and Elliot and both boys and girls doubles pairs. All players have benefitted from the practice matches and its good to see how their matchplay has definitely improved.
Mini tennis has started again on Friday nights from 5-6pm with older juniors continuing from 5-7pm so I hope to see lots of you there. The bar will be re-opening on Friday nights from 1st April and barbecues will also start then.
Junior Club Championships is on Sunday 3rd April and there will be competitions for mini, red, orange and green and then U12 U14 U16 and U18. There will be plenty of tennis with singles and doubles in the older age groups and everybody will get more than one match. Start will be 11.30 and there will be some light meals and drinks available and the bar will be open for spectating parents. It will be a fun day for all so please enter by emailing Kim Smith
