It’s time to start organising Sunday fun tennis again so we can restart in October.

For those of you who haven’t been involved before, now is your chance! Played on Sunday afternoons from October through to March, mixed teams of varying abilities play each other in the hope of getting their name on the cup! It’s a really fun format and a chance to meet other members as well as to play people of varying abilities.

Depending on the number of people signing up, it normally involves about 6 sessions per team, played from 1.00 - 3.00pm on Sunday afternoons. If you can’t play, there will be a list of reserves so you can either ask one of them or swap with someone else. You always play opposite someone of your level, and mix with other players every 20 minutes.

To sign up please email debbie_robertson@talktalk.net. I need to know your playing level, ie lady 1,2 or 3 or man 1,2 or 3 and your mobile no. If you don’t feel able to commit to being in a team, please sign up as a reserve. If you are a couple and want to play in the same team, please let me know. Alternatively you may want to be on different teams due to childcare or other reasons, so let me know that too.

I’ll then allocate you all to teams and let you know the dates when you are playing. Please sign up ASAP so I can get the lists out and give you maximum notice for starting in October.
